Mission Statement

  • The primary mission of the American Legion, Post 291 Honor Guard is to provide Military Funeral Ceremonies for Veterans and Retirees who have served honorably in the United States Military.
  • The Honor Guard also provides support services for community events with Color Guards, flag raisings, parades and other ceremonial occasions that fall within proper protocol of displaying a patriotic sense of Americanism.
  • All services are conducted with honor, dignity, and respect while maintaining a commitment to the history and traditions of our United States Military.
